She was born February 21, 1930 in Camden, New Jersey to Joseph and Carolyn Thompson. Jane attended Pierce Business School in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania.
She was a member of the First Church of Christ Scientist in Norman, Oklahoma. She was described as “A gentle beam of living love.” Jane will always be remembered for her sense of humor, her unshakeable faith, her beautiful smile, warm hugs and her love of Mystery Novels!
Jane is survived by her daughter, Barbara Jackson; son, Frank Kates and wife Susan Kates; grandson, Carson Kates; granddaughter, Carolyn Aupperle; grandson, Andy Aupperle; sister-in-law, Joyce Thompson and family; and nieces Becky Rios and Jennifer Thompson.
Jane is preceded in death by her parents, Joseph and Carolyn Thompson; Brothers, Joseph Thompson Jr and John Thompson, and daughter, Debra Aupperle.
A celebration of life will be held for Jane at Frank and Susan’s Home on Saturday, August 12, 2023 between 11 am and 1 pm. (the family has asked to call them for further information).
