He retired from Gulf in 1972 as a District Landman in Oklahoma City and began his second career as the Land Manager for Ferguson Oil and Gas. Jim had a very long and active career in the Oklahoma oil industry and was a past president of the Oklahoma City Landman’s Association. After Mary’s death in 1979 Jim married Gayle Campbell in Palm Springs in 1982. Jim was always a gentleman. He is survived by a large loving family that will remember him every day of their lives and miss him dearly, and is the best Dad and Grandpa ever.
