James Calvin Talbert, age 65 of Luther, OK, passed away June 1, 2013. He was born March 1, 1948 in Woolsey, AR to Noris Estel and Frances Marie (Karnes) Talbert. James worked at a Casino as a security guard and was retired from Tinker Air Force Base. He built his one home and loved landscaping. He especially loved roses. He was preceded in death by his parents. Survivors include his wife, Florene of the home; two sisters: Glenda Hazlewood and husband, Wayne of Choctaw, OK, and Reba Jones and husband, Robert of Newalla, OK; one brother, Darrell Talbert of Edmond, OK; nieces: Kelly Hazlewood; Carrie and husband, Chris Patton; Michelle and husband, Michael Ollar; Angela Jones; Leah and husband, David Flores; and Amy and husband, Scott Simons; nephews: Larry Mefferd and Dale Talbert; and many other family members and friends. Funeral services will be held on Friday, June 7, 2013 at Bill Eisenhour Northeast Chapel with burial to follow at Sunny Lane Cemetery in Del City, OK.
