Basketball was Nadine’s favorite sport. When she was a senior at Spaulding high school, her team won the Oklahoma Girl’s State basketball championship held in OKC at the state fairgrounds. Nadine enjoyed watching many sports and especially took joy in cheering on the Denver Broncos, OSU Cowboys and the OU Sooners (the real team). However, this joy did not compare to the joy she had when watching her children, grandchildren, and great grandchildren as they participated in a variety of activities. She was always their #1 Fan!! She enjoyed being outside whether it was gardening, fishing, or spending time with her grandchildren. Family was always first in Nadine’s eyes. She was a member of the Thomasville Community Methodist Church in Thomasville, CO. Nadine worked for many years at Tinker Air Force Base as an administrative assistant. At one point, she was honored to work for General (then Colonel) Colin Powell. Nadine was known for her cooking and baking. One of her famous things to make was eggrolls. Her family would eat them just as fast as she could make them!
Nadine is preceded in death by her parents; siblings, Ola Gore, Dovie Moody, Kenneth Gore, Leon Gore, Clinton Gore, Bobby Gore, and Lloyd Gore; grandchildren, Sarah Dawn Stafford and Cpl Anthony Rivers USMC. Survivors include her loving husband, Richard Neal who she would have been married to 66 years on November 24, 2016; children, Judy Crespo and husband Rick, June Weston and husband Don, and Dickie Neal and wife Nancy; grandchildren, Desarae Witmer, Marie Howard, Delana Smiley and husband Todd, Melissa Wilkens and husband Jason, Tim Weston and wife Michelle, Randy Neal and wife Sallie, Brian Weston and wife KaTrina, Jake Stafford and wife Desiree’, and Beverly Rivers; 13 great-grandchildren; Shih tzu, Sugar Bear #2; and many other friends and family members who will miss her dearly.
