Gordon Franklin Greer

Gordon Franklin Greer was born in Minneapolis, Minnesota on January 14, 1939, the son of Doyal and Doris Greer. He passed away on Monday, April 21, 2014 in Oklahoma City, OK. Gordon graduated from Prague High School in 1957. Upon graduation, he enrolled and completed the Vo-Tech School in Tahlequah, OK. He worked for the Department of Human Services in the Mail & Clerical Division for over 30 years. He attended the Arthur Murray Studio for many years. Gordon and his partner won many trophies for their outstanding dance routines. He was preceded in death by his father and mother. He is survived by two brothers and one sister: David D. Greer and wife Tena, Gene Greer, and Linda (Greer) Odland. The nephews and nieces include David L. Greer, Courtney (Greer) Kelley and family, Nate Greer and family, Carol Odland, Cindy (Odland) Stevenson and family, and Christy (Odland) Harding and family. Memorial Services were held Saturday, May 17, 2014, at 2:00 p.m. at Bill Eisenhour Funeral Home located at 8805 NE 23rd St in Oklahoma City, OK. Family and friends will miss him because he could always put a smile on your face. Inurnment will be at Prague Cemetery in Prague, OK.
