Evelyn Louise Duncan

November 2, 1924 – February 19, 2016

Evelyn Louise Ellison Roller Duncan was born November 2, 1924, and passed away February 19, 2016. The second of four daughters born in Tulsa, Oklahoma, to Floy and Houston Ellison, Lou was raised in a loving Christian home filled with joy and laughter. She and her husband of 50 years, Ralph Roller, had two children, Barbara and Keith. After his death, Lou was blessed to find a second wonderful love in her life, Don Duncan. Their ten-year marriage brought her much happiness.

A woman of strong faith, Lou was a member of United Methodist Church of the Servant for more than 40 years. She was an avid bridge player – belonging to as many as 11 bridge clubs at any given time. She enjoyed playing golf, traveling, and being with her family. Lou loved music, and played her piano almost daily. She was devoted to her family and to God – a beloved sister, mother, aunt, Grammy, great-grandmother and friend.

Preceded in death by her parents, her sister, Helen, and her husbands, Ralph and Don, she is survived by daughter Barbara and husband Bruce Romick, son Keith and wife Lynne Roller; grandchildren Brian and wife Kristen Romick, Brandon Romick, Alex Roller, Beth and husband Scott Sehnert; great-grandchildren Emily, Adam, Caroline and Kyle Romick, Leland and Lyla Sehnert; sister Mary Rainwater, sister Nancy and husband Ray Dowdy; many nieces and nephews; Perry Duncan, Christopher, Lizette and Cailyn Duncan, Adam, Rachel, Mason and Jonah Duncan and Paul Duncan.

A memorial service is scheduled for Saturday, February 27, at 2:00 p.m., United Methodist Church of the Servant, 14343 N MacArthur Blvd, Oklahoma City, OK 73142. In lieu of flowers, gifts may be made in Lou’s memory to Citizens Caring for Children, 730 W Wilshire Creek Blvd, Ste 112, OKC 73116, or Church of the Servant Children’s Ministry.
