Ethel Lorene Baker

Ethel Lorene Baker, 87 year-old resident of Norman, Oklahoma, passed away on March 26, 2019 at her home in Norman, Oklahoma. Born March 17, 1932 in Castle, Oklahoma, she was the daughter of Jessie Thomas Rains and Margaret Ellen (Mitchell) Rains. She married Warren Baker and was a homemaker for most of her life. Ethel was an avid gardener and loved growing vegetables and roses; crocheting; and spending time with her family especially her grandchildren. Preceding her in death were her parents, Jessie and Margaret Rains; her husband, Warren Baker; one son, Johnnie Baker; and all of her siblings. Survivors include one son, Ronnie and his wife Rita Baker of Norman, Oklahoma; one daughter-in-law, Marty Baker of McLoud, Oklahoma; five grandchildren; and many great-grandchildren. Graveside services will be at 2:00 p.m. Friday, March 29, 2019 at Arlington Memory Gardens, 3400 N. Midwest Blvd., Oklahoma City, Oklahoma with Mr. Jason Baker officiating. Burial will follow in Arlington Memory Gardens.
