Dr. Edward I. Lynch, longtime resident of Oklahoma City and a practicing Chiropractor for more than 50 years, died Wednesday, July 23, at an assisted living center. Dr. Lynch was born October 2, 1935, in Oklahoma City the son of Dr. & Mrs. H.J. Lynch. He attended Bishop John Carroll grade school and graduated from Catholic High School in Oklahoma City. He served in the Air National Guard for 8 years. He earned a degree in Chiropractic medicine from Carver Chiropractic College. He practiced in both Oklahoma City and Edmond. He also earned a degree in Roentgenology and was one of the most respected in his field. He enjoyed spending time with his many nephews and nieces and other relatives. He also enjoyed fishing and hunting. He was preceded in death by his parents, five sisters, Roberta, Mary, Cecilia, Barbara and Bonnie and a brother Harold, Jr. He is survived by his sister Gerrie Snare, Oklahoma City; a sister-in-law, Bernadine Lynch; a number of nieces and nephews and cousins. Viewing will be Friday from 12 noon to 8 p.m. at Hahn-Cook/Street & Draper Funeral Home. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10:30 a.m., Saturday, July 26, at Our Lady’s Catholic Church with The Reverend John Metzinger, pastor, officiating. Interment will follow in Resurrection Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations are to be made to the Regional Food Bank of Oklahoma
