Dustin Wayne Galyan

Dustin was born Feb. 26, 1989 and went home to Heaven on Feb. 13, 2015. Dustin is survived by his 14 month old son, Colton Wayne Galyan of Del City, OK; father, Eddie Galyan of OKC; mother, Stephanie Galyan of Chandler, OK; brothers, Kyle Galyan of Jones, OK, Jeremy and Bruce Galyan of OKC, and Eliah Meek of Chandler, OK; sisters, Amber Rodgers and husband Ian of OKC, and Brandi Peterson and husband Brad of Reno, NV; maternal grandparents, Bill and Linda Schmitz of Jones, OK, maternal great grandparents, Sam and Sibyl Flippo of MWC, OK, paternal grandfather, Ed Galyan of OKC; paternal grandmother, Ann Green of OKC; numerous aunts, uncles, cousins and 2 nieces. Dustin started on his journey to become a lineman as a meter reader for OG&E. During that time he attended OSU extension to study for a linesman apprenticeship. While attending OSU, he was offered a groundsman position with OG&E. That started his way to becoming a lineman. He was currently working for Texoma Powerline. If he wasn’t working he was hunting or fishing if possible. He cherished the time he spent with his son, Colton. Dustin was very passionate about his job. He loved being a lineman. He left this earth doing what he loved.
