David Wayne Neighbors

David entered the gates of Heaven to join his parents and brother Kevin, on December 4, 2023 at 3:58pm. His family is confident that he is indeed rejoicing in the presence of our Lord.

David is survived by his beloved wife Crystal. They were joined in matrimony on June 5, 2021.

His two sisters, Terry and Tammy, brother, Williams, his children Tyler and Sarah, his bonus children Elizabeth, Brandon, and Nickie. As well as ten amazing grandchildren of whom he was proud and delighted in spending time with them all. He never let you wonder about the love that he held in his heart for those he loved and cared.

David enjoyed cheering for his Sooners and Jones Longhorns. It was a rarity that he missed any game that these favorites played. Many of the boys that were on the various little league teams he went to called him Pops. He always made sure that each felt the caring encouragement whether they won or lost.

David was devoted to attending church and God. He would never shy away from telling about his deep faith. He was the kind of person that would give you his last dollar or help as much as he could.

He had been a welder and a fitter making high pressured tanks for companies like Boardman and QB Johnson. David had a hard working ethic and demanded perfection in his work.

Beneath David’s gruff exterior was a true heart of gold. His sense of humor could always make you laugh.

He is loved by a multitude of family and friends that became like family. He will be dearly missed by those who were blessed to be loved by and who know and love him.
