Cynthia "Cindy" Ann Johnston

She was born in St. Louis, Missouri on August 14, 1961, to Vincent and Janet Howard. Cindy graduated from Byrum High School in Jackson, Mississippi and earned her bachelor’s degree in Industrial Engineering from the University of Oklahoma in 1986. She married Jeffery Johnston on June 30, 1984. Cindy earned her master’s degree in 2013 while a mom of two and working full time as an engineer at Tinker Air Force Base.

Cindy is survived by her husband, Jeff Johnston, her parents Vince and Jan Howard, her daughter and son-in-law Elise and Daniel Puma, and her son, Seth Johnston. She is also survived by her sister and brother-in-law Valerie and Chuck Davis, brother and sister-in-law Duane and Monica Howard, as well as four nieces and nephews. Cindy is also survived by her mother-in-law Norma Johnston, along with numerous aunts, uncles, and cousins.

Cindy enjoyed traveling, cooking, sewing, reading, and card games. She had a passion for learning, her family, and her poodle, Taffy.

A viewing will be held on Wednesday 8:00 am to 8:00 pm with the familyavailable from 5 - 7 pm at Bill Eisenhour Funeral Home, at 8805 NE 23rd Street, Oklahoma City, OK 73141. The funeral will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Thursday, June 5, at Good Shepherd Lutheran Church, 700 N Air Depot Blvd., Midwest City, OK 73110.
