Connie Bernice McCannon, age 67, of Midwest City, Oklahoma passed away on Monday, January 4, 2021. Connie was born August 29, 1953 in Hatch, New Mexico to parents Herman Melvin Romines and Opal Bernice (Foltz) Hamilton.
Connie attended school in Globe, Arizona. She was a homemaker and evangelist. Her favorite hobbies included spending time with both her family and church family, traveling, and watching college football. Some of her favorite vacations included trips to Colorado, Arizona, New Mexico, Africa, and the Evangelism Trail. Her greatest/proudest moments were her and her husband Billy's ministries and the successful achievements of her children. Connie was Pentecostal and an ordained minister of the International Full Gospel Evangelistic Assoc. out of Temple, Oklahoma. Connie married her husband Billy Ray McCannon on November 11, 1995.
Connie is preceded in death by her parents Herman Romines and Opal Hamilton, husband Billy McCannon, brother Kenneth Romines, and grandson Curtis Lee Hamm.
She is survived by her son, Curtis Dewayne Hamm & wife Stephanie; son, John Payne Lovell & wife Vickie; son, Charles Keith Lovell & wife Rhonda; sister, Norma McAdoo; sister, May Sandlin; brother, Jimmy Miller; sister, Laurice Miller; brother, Jerry Romines & wife Ann; Two half-sisters, Nancy Conley and Nelda Kendrick; half-brother, Otis Miller; as well as numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
A funeral service for Connie will be held at 2:00 p.m., Friday, January 8, 2021 at Bill Eisenhour Funeral Home, 8805 NE 23rd Street, Oklahoma City, OK 73141.
