Claude Dean Tillman, 68, of Oklahoma City, Oklahoma passed away on August 25, 2022. He was born in Casa Grande, Arizona on September 28, 1953. He grew up in Casa Grande and spent his years alongside his siblings and parents on their farm.
Dean graduated from San Simon High School. After graduation, he joined the United States Army and worked as a military policeman for 4 years. Once Dean was released from active duty in the Army he then went on to college. He attended the DeVry Institute of Technology and received his Associate’s Electronics Technician Diploma in June 1982 in Phoenix, Arizona.
When Dean was in the army he met his wife Mary Kay Tillman. They were married on December 9, 1978, and spent 40 beautiful years together. They lived their life together in Chicago and that’s where they raised their two children Jeremy and Leanne for most of their life. During this time Dean worked in electronics for JK Audio. He had a passion for guitar, religion, and family history. In the later years of his children getting married, he even did their spouses Laredo and Sabre’s genealogy for their families.
In 2018 when his wife Mary Kay passed away he decided to move from Chicago to Oklahoma, wanting to be closer to his family there.
He was survived by his son Jeremy and wife Sabre Tillman, daughter Leanne and husband Laredo Williams, his grandchildren Lillien, William, Theodore, and Addison, siblings Lee Roy Tillman, Bill and wife Jean Tillman, Dwayne and wife Linda Tillman, David Tillman, Mike and wife Mary Tillman. Randy and wife Junell Tillman, Diann and husband Larry Calvert, Kenny and wife Janine Tillman, Fred and wife Linda Tillman, sister-in-law Lila Tillman, and many other family and friends.
Dean was preceded in death by his wife Mary Kay Tillman, parents Emmet and Jessie Tillman, brothers Bob Tillman, Jerry Tillman, and Ronald Tillman, and two sisters-in-law Brenda Tillman and Nancy Tillman.
