Carol Spencer

Carol Spencer, 71 year-old resident of Midwest City, Oklahoma, passed away Nov. 10, 2017 in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma. Born February 3, 1946 in Winter Haven, Florida, she was the daughter of Richard Emerson Weller and Myrtice Alene (House) Weller. Carol was a longtime resident of Midwest City, Oklahoma. She had been a teacher for 20 years and was Co-Owner/Operator of Spencer’s Barbecue Restaurant for over 29 years. Carol was a very loving, “People Person” who enjoyed being with friends, family, and customers most of all. She enjoyed reading, music of all kinds, Movies, Dancing, Shopping, and especially spending time with her granddaughters and other family members. Preceding Carol in death were her parents, Richard and Myrtice Weller. Survivors include her loving husband Michael Spencer of the home; 1 daughter, Trisha and her husband Christian Anderson of Choctaw, Oklahoma; two granddaughters, Kinley Anderson and Kambree Anderson of Choctaw, Oklahoma; and a host of other relatives and many friends. A Celebration of Life Service will be held at Noon, Tuesday, Nov. 14, 2017 at Bill Eisenhour Northeast Chapel, 8805 NE 23rd St., Oklahoma City, OK 73141. Entombment will follow at Arlington Memory Gardens Mausoleum in Midwest City, Oklahoma.
