Carla Ann Taylor, age 57, of Oklahoma City, Oklahoma passed away on Sunday, September 16, 2018. Carla was born March 8, 1961 in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma to Frankie Jane Taylor and Bob Eugene Taylor. After graduation with the class of 1979 at Northwest Classen High School Carla went on to begin her career in cosmetology, specializing as a hairstylist. During her fulfilling career she achieved numerous certifications including becoming an American Board Certified Hair Colorist, Certified Lanza Educator as well as Global Keratin Treatment Instructor. Carla enjoyed serving her clients and regularly exercising at the gym but nothing brought out Carla’s adventurous side like spending time with those she loved most. She could often be found spending time with her family and friends waterskiing in the summer and hitting the slopes in the winter. Despite all of her personal achievements it is well known that Carla’s proudest moment in life was meeting and holding her grandchildren.
Carla is survived by her husband, Paul Taylor; son, Drennan Skaggs; daughter-in-law, Erin Skaggs; daughter, Alayna Skaggs; step-son David Rogers; step-daughter, Tricia Farrell; and husband, Brady Farrell; sister, Connie Nichols and brother-in-law, Wayne Nichols; niece, Keely Nichols; Grandchildren, Naiya, Dilynn, Brooklyn, Averie and Devin; as well as many family and friends that will forever cherish her memory.
