Beverly Jean Quam, age 81, passed away on Friday, January 12, 2024, at Arbor House in Norman, OK. She was the widow of Charles E. Quam. They shared 50 years of marriage together. Beverly was born in Green Bay, Wisconsin, she was the daughter of Albert and Mildred Peer. She graduated from East High School in Green Bay. Beverly was a homemaker.
Beverly was a member of Holy Cross Lutheran Church in Oklahoma City. She enjoyed reading and spending time with her family and church. She will be remembered for her caring and loving nature for her family.
Beverly is survived by her daughter, Brenda Delaney and husband Curtis of Del City, son Gary Quam and wife Rebecca of Dallas and son Andrew Quam and Jeanie Quam of Norman. She is also survived by her brother, Robert Peer and wife Karen; sister, Susan Litersky and husband Hugo; sister, Theresa Peer; and sister-in-law, Barb Peer. Beverly had six grandchildren: Amanda Datugan and husband Patrick, Blake Delaney and wife Tabitha, Alexis Quam, Gary Quam Jr., Matthew Quam, and Jessica Quam. She also had six great-grandchildren: Hunter, Chloe, Paisley, Hannah, Jace, and Sebastian.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Charles Quam, parents, Albert and Mildred Peer, brothers Jack Peer and Don Peer.
The memorial service will be held on January 26 at 10:00 am at Holy Cross Lutheran Church, 1441 SW 104th st., Oklahoma City with interment at Ft. Sill National Cemetery, Elgin, OK to follow at 1:00 pm.
