Betty Joyce Stevens

Betty Joyce Stevens, a cherished resident of Oklahoma City, Oklahoma, passed away peacefully on October 10, 2024, at the age of 76. Born on March 1, 1948, in Waynesboro, Tennessee, she was the daughter of Freddy and Dorothy Burns.

Betty’s warmth and kindness defined her life. She married the love of her life, Larry Stevens, on April 10, 1998, and together they built a life filled with love and laughter. As a devoted housewife, Betty embraced her role with grace, creating a nurturing home for her family.

Betty had a deep passion for fishing, often spending peaceful days by the water, where she found joy and tranquility. Her adventurous spirit and love for the outdoors were infectious, bringing family and friends together for memorable outings.

She is preceded in death by her beloved daughter, Carla Christine Conner. Betty is survived by her loving husband, Larry; her daughter, Angela Renee Stevens Rhodes; three grandchildren who brought her immense joy; and her siblings: Gene Burns, Harvey Burns, Allie Jarred, Christine Chapel, and Wanda Allison.

Betty’s spirit will forever be remembered in the hearts of those she touched.

A graveside service was held for Betty on Wednesday, October 9th, 2024 at Memorial Park Cemetery.
