Benny Richard Garcia

Benny passed away on May 9, 2020 in the home he loved with his wife Brenda by his side. He leaves a legacy of generosity and kindness to others and will be missed by many. Benny was born in Oklahoma and chose to make it his home. He traveled extensively for his job and when asked if he had a favorite place, he always answered, “home.” Music was central to his life. As a talented guitarist, he played in numerous bands over the years. He spent the last 30 years working for his dear friend Vince Gill. Benny loved his job and the travels involved took him around the globe. He made friends everywhere. Benny loved everyone and judged no one. The number of lives he touched is truly amazing. Benny and Brenda were married for over 40 years. During their lifetime together, his first priority was always his family and his many friends. Benny loved animals and was proud to be Dad to his beloved Yorkies, Gibson and Gomez. In addition to his wife Brenda, Benny is survived by his mother Clara, his sister Lisa and her fiancé Jeff, and his brother Paul. He was predeceased by his father Benny. Due to the current social distancing there will be no public service at this time. A gathering to celebrate Benny’s life will be held at a later date.
