Barbara Jean Ratliff was born to Darrell and Laverne Ratliff on June 15, 1946 in Carnegie Oklahoma.
At an early age the family moved to Elgin, Oklahoma. After a few years they moved back to Carnegie where she attended her first 6 years of school. The family then moved to Chickasha where she graduated from high school and then attended OCW for one year. She married Carol Thacker in 1965. They had one son, Steven Thacker, in 1966. She later moved to Seattle, Washington where she married Don Adams on January 27, 1973. They moved to Tuttle, Oklahoma in December 2009 where they currently reside. She was saved at the age 18 then rededicated her life in the spring of 2022. She was then baptized November 13, 2022. Barbara is survived by husband Don of the home, son Steven Thacker of Maple Valley, Washington; 2 granddaughters Alyssa and Sara Thacker of Chickasha, Oklahoma; sister and brother-in-law Eyvonne and David Sitton and many nieces, great nieces and nephews and cousins.
Barbara is preceded in death by her parents Darrell and LaVerne Ratliff, in-laws James and Fern Adams, sister and brother in-law Linda and Lonnie Johnson and niece Tracey Lynne Sitton.
Services will be held at the Chisholm Heights Baptist Church in Mustang, Oklahoma on Monday, June 17, 2023 at 2:00 p.m. with interment at Chapel Hill Memorial Gardens in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma.
