Sharon E. Zimmerschied, age 72 of Ogdensburg passed away on January 3, 2023, at Claxton Hepburn Medical Center. As per her request there will be no public services.
Surviving is her daughter Alisa Valdez-Reed & her husband Kyle of Murrieta, CA; grandchildren Mercedes, Mariah, Madden & Mia; brothers Donald Myers, Gary Myers; sisters Linda Rice & Beverly Comstock; along with several nieces, nephews & cousins.
She was predeceased by two brothers Leonard “James” Myers and Wayne Myers.
Sharon was born on March 28, 1950 in Bombay, a daughter of William & Mary (Myers) Murdie. She graduated from High School and later obtained her license practical nursing degree.
During her career she worked at St Joseph’s Home in Ogdensburg as an LPN. She enjoyed playing games on the computer, playing bingo, her dog Sugar and spending time with her family.
