Renee L. Fields

Renee L. Fields, age 64 of Lisbon, NY passed away unexpectedly on Thursday morning, August 15, 2024 at St. Joseph’s Health Hospital in Syracuse, NY. A Celebration of Life will be announced at a later date. Arrangements are under the care and direction of Fox & Murray Funeral Home.

Born March 8, 1960 in Ogdensburg, NY, Renee was the daughter of the late Jerry Fisher and Bethany M. Catlin. She graduated high school from Ogdensburg Free Academy in 1978 and went on to work as a CNA for St. Joseph’s Nursing Home in Ogdensburg. In 2015, Renee married the love of her life, Daniel L. Fields. Renee had a deep passion for knitting, taking care of her patients, cats, and spending time with her grandchildren. Rene took a lot of pride in caring and comforting family and friends in their time of need.

Mrs. Fields is survived by her loving husband Daniel L. Fields of Lisbon, NY; her children, Terry Lynn Hamilton and her husband Lucas of Ogdensburg and Heather M. Leeson and her husband Robert of Ogdensburg; her step children, Joe Fields and his companion Krrynn Moore of Lisbon, NY and Lacey Beldock of Lisbon NY; her brothers, Edwin Fisher and his wife Jenny of Ogdensburg, Vincent Fisher of Ogdensburg, Jerry Fisher and his wife Roxanne of Holland Patent, NY, and Michael Fisher of Mohawk, NY; her sisters, Jeanine Measheaw of Tupper Lake; Jerry Lee Johnson and her husband Robert Sr. of Ogdensburg, and Angela Wakefield of Ogdensburg; her grandchildren, Chole, Sophia, Hailey, Jonathan, Destiney, Owen, Liam and Stanley; three great grandchildren; and several nieces, nephews, and cousins.

She was predeceased by her parents, Jerry and Bethany Fisher; a son, Jenson Measheaw (2011); and a brother, William Willard.
