Milton "Bub" E. Marcellus

Milton “Bub” E. Marcellus age 54, of Rossie, NY, passed away peacefully Friday, September 20, 2024, at Champlain Valley Physicians Hospital in Plattsburgh, NY, with his loving family by his side. A private burial will take place at the convenience of the family. Arrangements are under the care and direction of Fox & Murray Funeral Home.

Milton was born January 25, 1970 in Watertown, NY, to the late Milton and Bertha (Rogers) Marcellus. He graduated high school in 1988 from Hammond Central School. Milton continued his education in Building Trades and went into the construction field. He was a member of the Laborers and Roofers Union as well as working for other companies.

On April 11, 1999, Milton married Irene Richard. He was a member of the Black Lake Association and loved helping with Jerry’s Run for Cancer, selling tickets and helping block intersections during the run. He enjoyed motorcycles and his dogs, Crusher and Max.

Mr. Marcellus is survived by his wife Irene Marcellus of Rossie, NY; his children, Julian “Jay” Marcellus and his wife Julie of Rossie, NY and Courtney Gilmour and her husband Elija of Morristown, NY; his siblings, Terry Marcellus and his companion Teresa of Rossie, NY, Valerie Tayler and her husband Ronald of Henderson, NV, Kathy Boicourt and her husband James of Hammond, NY, and Luella Fisher of Ogdensburg, NY; grandchildren, Zane, Zoe, and Mackenzie Marcellus and Veda Gilmour; and many nieces and nephews and cousins.

He was predeceased by his parents, Milton and Bertha Marcellus.
