Funeral services for Lisa A. Parks, age 55 of Ogdensburg will be held at 2:00pm on Friday (Feb 3, 2017) at the Fox & Murray Funeral Home with Rev. F. James Shurtleff officiating. Burial will be held on the spring at Ogdensburgh Cemetery.

Calling hours will be held also on Friday from 12:00pm until the time of the funeral. Mrs. Parks passed away on Tuesday (Jan 31, 2017) at Claxton Hepburn Medical Center, surrounded by her loving friends and family.

Surviving are her children Robert Parks, Christina McGuire & Brandy Parks all of Ogdensburg; four brothers Patrick McGuire of Chicago IL, Steven McGuire of Chicago IL, Michael & Robert Paige both of Ogdensburg; two sisters Patricia Paige-Beyett of Morristown and Cathy Paige-Smith of Winthrop; nine grandchildren Scylar McGuire, Chantz McGuire, Patienz McGuire, Stoarme McGuire, Adrianha Parks, Zayden Grenier, Astryn Grenier, Zavier Grenier and Ariah Perry.

Lisa was born on December 18, 1961 in Chicago IL, a daughter of the late Patrick & Donna McGuire. She graduated from Ogdensburg Free Academy and continued her education at Canton ATC. She later married Robert R. Parks in 1985. He later predeceased her on Sept 23, 2014.

Lisa worked as a Head Start teacher for many years, and enjoyed caring for others, playing Yahtzee and socializing over coffee with friends and family.
