She leaves a hole in the hearts of those privileged to have known her. This dancing queen had a passion for playing bingo, moving to music with her husband and was fond of planting & caring for her geraniums and rose bushes. Nothing brought her greater joy than her family, she never missed an opportunity to be with her children & grandchildren. She proudly shared photos of her kids & grandkids with rundowns on their accomplishments & endeavors.
She is survived by her cherished husband, Trinidad Armendariz; her daughters: Sally Garcia (Raul), Oralia Galindo (Raymon), Sandra Ramos (Oscar), and Maribel Armendariz;
9 Grandchildren: Brittny, Oscar, Victoria, Ashlee, Catalina, Edwin, Saul Andres, Jaylene and Noah; Great-Grandchildren Emma Kae and Liam Sol, and her puppy Mia.
Socorro was born on August 8, 1949 in Meoqui, Chihuahua and enjoyed 56 years of marriage in Odessa, TX. She was a caring wife, an incredible mother and a doting grandmother who had perfected the art of offering advice wrapped in relaxed conversation; Most missed will be her consistent "I love you".
Visitation will be: Thursday, April 13 from 10am-9pm at Odessa Funeral Home
Funeral will be: Friday, April 14, 1pm at Odessa Funeral Home.
Pallbearers: Oscar Ramos, Edwin Ramos, Noah Ramos, Saul Andres Rodriguez, Cesar Acosta and Steven Garcia.
