Marsha graduated from Odessa High School, Class of 1968. Following graduation, she had two loving sons, Ron and Cain Chesnut. She married Larry A. Williams July 20, 2002 in the presence of all her friends and family. Marsha was bookkeeper for Fitness Specialist for many years and offered after work childcare for her grandchildren. She loved her children and her grandchildren more than anything. She would light up just talking about them. More than anything, she loved when they all got together for any occasion. You never saw her without a book or an ipad. She enjoyed reading, slot machines and playing games, any kind of games. She always saw the good in everyone and didn’t dwell on the negative. She was encouraging, compassionate, and caring. She will be missed by so many.
In addition to her parents, she was predeceased by her brothers, Ronald and Terry Ray. Surviving in addition to her husband, Larry A. Williams, are her sons, Ron Chesnut and partner, BJ Freeman and Cain Chesnut, and wife Emily; her two stepdaughters, Sunny Bradshaw and husband Jason, and Joy Williams, and her stepson, Larry Mack Williams and wife Jenna; eleven grandchildren; Caleb Chesnut, Kali Chesnut, Trent Johnston, Taylor Freeman, Chandler Chesnut, Presley Allison, Piper Chesnut, Landon Rodgers, Serenity Williams, and Bailey and Taylor Bradshaw; one great-granddaughter, Aspyn Johnston; one brother, Rocky Ray and wife Linda; sister-in-law, Dian Ray.
A Celebration of Life will be held 4:00pm Friday, Nov 23 at 9201 Cevallia, Odessa. Reception will follow. Those who wish to remember Marsha in a special way may make gifts in her memory to St. Jude’s Children’s Hospital or a charity of your choice.
