Linda Ornelas Estrada

Born on September 15, 1962, in Odessa, Texas, Linda was a bright light in the lives of all who knew her.

Linda was the cherished daughter of Socorro Ornelas Estrada and Ruben Estrada. She was preceded in death by her father, Ruben, and her sister, Maria Lourdes Estrada Luna, who welcomed her into the heavenly realm. Linda is survived by her devoted mother, Socorro, her brothers Ruben Estrada Jr. and Ubaldo Estrada, and her sister Teresa Juarez. Additionally, she leaves behind numerous nieces, nephews, grand nieces and nephews and a host of family friends who will forever remember her kindness and warmth.

A lifelong member of the Odessa community, Linda was an active participant in her faith, frequently attending mass at Holy Redeemer Catholic Church. Her devotion to her spiritual life was a reflection of her compassionate nature and her commitment to bringing joy to others.

Linda was a woman of many passions. She had a love for the arts, often immersing herself in coloring, painting, and making puzzles, which served as both a form of expression and relaxation. In her spare time, she enjoyed playing computer games. Linda was also known for her sweet tooth, relishing candy and ice cream, which brought her simple pleasures and delight.

Above all, Linda cherished the time spent with her family. Her home was a gathering place filled with laughter and love, as she welcomed friends and relatives alike with open arms. Every visit was an opportunity for connection, and she made everyone feel special and valued.

Linda Ornelas Estrada will be profoundly missed by all who knew her. Her spirit will continue to live on in the hearts of her family and friends, and her legacy of love and creativity will inspire many for years to come.

A visitation for Linda will be held Thursday, December 5, 2024 from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM at Odessa Funeral Home, 1700 North Jackson, Odessa, TX 79761. A rosary will be held Thursday, December 5, 2024 from 6:00 PM to 7:00 PM, 1700 North Jackson, Odessa, TX 79761. A funeral mass will occur Friday, December 6, 2024 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at St. Elizabeth Ann Seton Church, 7601 N Grandview Ave, Odessa, TX 79765. The committal service & burial will follow at Ector County Cemetery, 300 S Dixie Blvd, Odessa, TX 79761.

Serving as pallbearers are Ulises Estrada , Isaac Estrada , Manuel Luna Jr , Joel Muniz , Joaquin Luna , Eric Garcia , Robert Rivas and Frank Mijares .
