(Tangie) Garcia. Mrs. Garcia, 72, of Odessa passed away in the comfort of her home on January 20, 2017. She was born in Alpine, Texas to Fidel Marquez Sr. and Maria A Marquez. She was a Catholic and a homemaker. She is preceded in death by her Husband Sylvestre Garcia Jr., her Parents Fidel Marquez Sr. and Maria A. Marquez, Brother Antonio Marquez, Sister Petra Marquez, and Susanna Marquez. She is also preceded in death by her husband’s parents Maria Gonzales and Sylvestre Garcia Sr.

Mrs. Hortencia M.(Tangie) Garcia is survived by Son; Steve Garcia wife Belinda, of Odessa Texas, Daughter Amanda Duarte and Husband David of Odessa, Son Juan Manuel and Wife Diana Ortiz of San Angelo Texas. She is also Survived by 6 grandchildren Kelly Duarte (little piece of gold), Daniella Duarte (piece of diamond), David Duarte (my sunshine), Stephanee Garcia (my crystal), Sean Garcia (my light), Erik Garcia (my last hope). Her 3 great grandchildren known as her 3 kings, Jayven Wallace, Kaleb Garcia Suchil, Isaiah Ortiz, and Brother Gilbert Marquez of Odessa, Mario Marquez of Odessa, Sister Elodia Dominguez of San Angelo Texas, Maria Helen Dutchover of Odessa Texas Olga Marquez, Elfidia Marques,and brother John Joe Marques . Her best friends Alicia Valenzuela Of Odessa, Margie Sandoval of Odessa Texas, and Nellie Prado of Midland Texas, a host of Nieces and Nephews, Cousins, and many more Friends.

Rosary will be held at Odessa Funeral Home Chapel Sunday January 22 2017 at 7pm. Mass will be at 1 pm Monday January 23,2017 at St Mary’s Catholic Church 612 E. 18th St. Odessa Texas. Burial to follow at Ector County Cemetery Peaceful Garden.
