Doris Gay “Gay~Gay” DeWitt Garrett, 61 of Odessa went to be with her Lord and Savior Jesus Christ on Tuesday February 1, 2011 at her home. She was born on October 15, 1949 in Strawn, Texas to Ray & Keith Louise Blakney DeWitt. She was Christian and a Homemaker, but also enjoyed the oilfield Industry not only working but being part owner of PMC Equipment enjoying the workforce environment alongside her brothers and sister. Above all she was a wonderful Loving Mother and Grandmother whom she loved very dearly Most of All Jesus Christ. She is Preceded in death by Parents Ray & Keith Louise Blakney DeWitt; and Brother: Kenny DeWitt. She survived by daughters; Kimberly Garrett Fanguy and husband Mark of Houma, LA, Keely Garrett of Lockhart, Tx, Brother; David DeWitt and wife Mary of Odessa, Sister; Elizabeth “Betsy” DeWitt Calloway of Midland, and 4 grandchildren Jeremy Hurst; Marisa Fanguy, Alexis Hurst and Skylar Griffin. Visitation will be held from 1PM~ 9PM today Sunday February 6, 2011 with Family to Gather with Friends from 3PM ~5PM at Odessa Funeral Home. A Memorial Service will be held at 2:00 PM Monday February 7, 2011 at Odessa Funeral Home Chapel with Dr. Jimmy Braswell officiating. Interment to be held privately at a Later Date.
