You can only have one wife, daughter, sister, friend, nonny and mother
Patient, kind and true;
No other in all the world, will be the same to you.
When others forsake you,
To you wife, daughter, sister, friend, nonny and mother will return.
For all her loving kindness, she ask nothing in return.
As we look upon her pictures, sweet memories we recall.
A face so full of sunshine, and a smile for one and all.
Sweet Jesus take this message, to our dear wife, daughter, sister, friend, nonny and mother up above, Tell her how we miss her and give her all our love.
Connie Lynne Humphreys, age 59, died peacefully on April 10, 2015, at home. She was born on December 17, 1955, in Odessa, Texas.
Family and friends were Connie's passion and delight. There was nothing more important to her than family. She married the love of her life Roger, on October 8, 1982, they were married 32 years. He was her rock and by her side each and every step of the way. The many travels they enjoyed together were precious memories to her. She loved to cruise, loved the slot machines (especially when those 3 "7's" came spinning around) and Christmas was her all time favorite holiday. She would make sure everyone had the very best Christmas and would even include those that weren't family members. She was the most generous, gracious, loving woman!
Connie is survived by her husband, Roger Humphreys, Children, Bethany Linley (Danial), Jeremy Telford (Sherri), Heather Humphreys, Austin Humphreys (Heather), all of Odessa, Texas and Molly Tucker (Jake) of Lubbock, Texas.
