Barbara Ann Rodgers, 75, of Odessa passed away Sunday, November 3, 2013 at the Covenant Specialty Hospital in Lubbock. She was born September 2, 1938 in Breckenridge, TX to Luther “Smokey” & Lois (Rodgers) Roberts. She attended Aladdin Beauty College and received her beautician license in 1963.
She is preceded in death by her parents, her husband Leon Rodgers, (3) brothers, Harrell, Jim & Bill Roberts.
She is survived by her sons, Donald Lee Rodgers & wife Kim of Georgetown, & David Leon Rodgers & wife Helen of Floresville, her daughter, Karen Esquibel of Odessa, (6) grandchildren, Jessica Chavez, LeeAnn, Dillon & Taylor Rodgers, Kara Julian & Kiana Hartsook, (4) great-grandchildren, Jaiden Chavez, Danielle & Ricky Castillo, & Cade Julian, & numerous nieces & nephews.
A memorial service will be held at 11:00 a.m. Thursday, November 7, 2013 at Hubbard-Kelly Funeral Home Chapel with Dr. Jimmy Braswell officiating.
