Andres was born in Artisia, New Mexico on August 20,1948 to the late Conception Gonzales Cano and Beatrice Madrid Cano. He lived most of his childhood in Ft. Davis TX then later moved to Odessa, TX. Andres graduated with his General Education Development (GED) and served in the United States Army from January 1971 to February 1975. Andres married Silvia Aguirre Cano on October 1979 and were married for 45 years.
Andres worked as a shop hand for Markco Machine Works Inc for 10 years. He loved his job and the people he worked with and had many co-workers that became close friends. Andres absolutely loved spending time with his family, going out to eat, working on the yard or working on something around the house. He worked and later retired from Ector County Independent School District in 2013 and then went on to work at Markco Machine Works in 2014 until present. Most people that retire from their job positions cease from working completely, but Andres, although retired, still wanted to work because he was a very hardworking man and also wanted to provide for his family. Andres was the most loving and humble man you could ever know and was always helping everyone he could. He was a very kindhearted person and made friends with people everywhere he went. He was very loved and will be very much missed.
Andres is survived by his wife Silvia Aguirre Cano (66); three daughters: Beatriz Cano (44), Eliana Cano (38), and Jasmin Cano (30). Also, three sisters: Leonila Prieto, Sandy Rios, and Adela Villanueva. In addition, three grandchildren: Faith Ramos, Aiden Cano and Dominic Ramos. Also, including 18 nieces and nephews and other family and friends.
Andres is preceded in death by his parents Conception Gonzales Cano and Beatrice Madrid Cano and his three brothers Gonzalo Cano, Pedro Cano, and Maurilio Cano.
Honorary pallbearers are: Danny Prieto, Adrian Cano, Hector Cano, Tavo Aguirre, Rigo Aguirre, and Spencer Figueroa.
