Alicia C. Gonzales

She was born in Pecos, Texas, on May 5, 1939 to Victoriano Montez Chacon and Petra Lozano. Alicia retired from ECISD. She married Arturo A. Gonzales on April 1, 1965 in Pecos, Texas. She is preceded in death by her parents, grandson Kabi Shrestha, and brother Johnny Chacon. She is survived by her husband Arturo A. Gonzales, four daughters Patsy Ramirez and husband David, Olga Jacobo and husband Larry, Melaney Gonzales and Danny Garcia, and Sheila Shrestha and husband Rajesh all of Odessa, Texas . She is also survived by five brothers David Chacon and wife Corina, Julio Chacon, Tony Chacon and wife Sylvia of all of Fresno, CA, Victor Chacon of Pinedale, CA, and Ramon Chacon and wife Trish of Selma, CA. Alicia also has ten grandchildren Sonya, Albert, Danielle, Pete, Valerie, Jacob, Isaiah, Kasey, Orion, and Saben twenty great-grandchildren, three great-great grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews. Mom always had her favorite saying

“Give me that Colgate smile” she also enjoyed family time.

Visitation will be Thursday, August 9, 2018 from 9:00 a.m. to 9:00 p.m. with a Rosary at 7:00 p.m. at Frank W Wilson 4635 Oakwood Drive Odessa, Texas. Funeral Mass will be 10:00a.m. Friday, August 10, 2018 at St. Elizabeth’s Catholic Church 7601 N. Grandview Ave Odessa, Texas. Burial will follow at Sunset Memorial Gardens 6801 E. Business 20 Odessa, Texas. Arrangements entrusted to Odessa Funeral Home.
