Texas passed away Tuesday November 19, 2013 at Parks Methodist Nursing Home. Mr. Silvas was born in Alpine, Tx. He was a
Christian, WWII Army Veteran and a retired Truck Driver. Alfredo was a part of the 187th Glider Infantry Regiment from 1943-1946 in
which he was a Purple Heart recipient. He is preceded in death by his Father, Francisco Silvas and Mother, Paula Aranda Silvas, 3
Brothers: Joe Silvas, Placido Cano, Celedonio Cano, 2 Sisters: Modesta Magallanez, Cristina Rudledge, Ernestina Rutledge, and a
Grandson: Sony Munoz Silvas. He is survived by his loving Family 3 Sons: Alfredo Silvas Jr, Frankie Silvas, Edward “Eddie” Silvas
all from Odessa, Tx. 8 Daughters: Carol Chavez, Mary Silvas, Gloria Fuentes, Diana Smith all from Odessa, Tx. Linda Trevino of San
Antonio, Tx, Debbie Melendez of Midland, Tx, Naomi Leyva of Alpine, Tx, Celia Urquidez of Corpus Christi, Tx Brothers: David Silvas

7pm at Odessa Funeral Home Chapel. Chapel Services will be held at 10am Saturday November 23, 2013 at Odessa Funeral
Home with Rev. Bob Milller officiating. Interment to follow at Sunset Memorial Gardens.
