Theodore William Wallendorf, affectionately known as Ted, passed away unexpectedly on December 8, 2024, at the age of 71. Born in Brooklyn, New York, on October 28, 1953, to Theodore Francis Wallendorf and Alice Victoria Gallaudet, both of whom preceded him in death.
Ted is survived by his loving wife of 48 years, Linda Jean Wallendorf. Together they built a life of love, and were blessed with four children. He is also survived by his children: Joshua Lee Wallendorf, Valinda Ann Washington (Jacob Ernest Washington), Jennifer Lynn Wallendorf, and David Wallendorf (Genevie ‘Jennevy’ Eileen Wallendorf), along with his grandchildren: Michael 'Mike' William Wallendorf (20), Isaiah Jordan Wallendorf (18), Madison 'Maddie' Lynn Wallendorf (16), Cecelia 'Cece' Brooke Wallendorf (14), Sophia Grace Wallendorf (12), Maddox Grey Washington (10), Dreams Winter Wallendorf (9), Harper Sky Wallendorf (8), and Nova Rae Washington (7). Ted is also survived by his sister, Vanessa Ann Antzoulis (Vasilios "Bill" T. Antzoulis), and his brother, Robert 'Bobby' Edward Wallendorf.
Known for his passion for Christ, coaching, and great laugh, Theodore touched the lives of everyone he met. He was a pillar of support, always there with encouragement and scripture. He loved deeply, laughed often, and lived fully. His family meant the world to him, and his devotion to them was unwavering. His legacy will live on in the hearts of all who had the privilege of knowing him.
A memorial service to celebrate Theodore’s life will be held on Thursday, December 19, 2024, at Eternal Hills Memorial in Oceanside, CA, from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM.
