A mom, a sister, a daughter, an aunt, and the most loving Mimi. She will missed by her surviving daughter Holly, niece Kelly, and grandchildren; Nathan, Kora, Holland, and Jayce. She was the most tenacious woman we knew in her life and death. Her daughter Holly was the compass in Penny's life and her greatest treasure. Her niece Kelly and her spent time enjoying music together until the end. Penny gave the last few decades of her life creating the most special bonds and memories with her grandchildren. Penny loved her community and making strangers laugh. Through her sense of humor strangers became friends, and friends became family. Her unwavering loyalty to those she loved was a pillar of who she was and came back in droves in her last days. She spent her last days listening to her favorite music and eating her favorite foods, especially Kyle's tamales.
