Lewis enlisted in the Navy in 1942 as a “Seabee” (Construction Battalion), where he was a sheet metal worker. After serving his country, he was honorably discharged in 1945.
After leaving the Navy, Lewis continued a career as a sheet metal worker as a civilian. He had many hobbies in his long life, which included building a house.
Lewis was a very smart man, an avid reader, and he also loved puzzles. He had an infectious laugh that made you laugh along with him. He will truly be missed.
He was preceded in death by his sisters, Louise, Dorothy, and Marjorie.
He was survived by his niece, Sherry (Carl), nephews Brian and David, and dear friends Larry, Sherman, and Lisa.
Lewis is gone, but never forgotten.
