On Monday, December 12, 2022, Leah J. Clouse, beloved mother and grandmother, passed away. She was 89 years old. Born Leah Jean Wild in Auburn, California to Emery J. & Mable Z. Wild, Leah attended Pasadena College where she met Frank, the love of her life. They were married in South Gate, California on August 16, 1954 and were married for 54 years. They had 3 children, 4 grandchildren and 7 great grandchildren.
Leah worked for about 30 years in the West Contra Costa Unified School District as a library assistant in both Jr. High and High School levels. Upon her retirement, she served as photo editor for VRBO.com. She was active in the Church of the Nazarene where she selflessly served for many years. She was passionate about missions & was Missionary President at her local church for many years. She lived her early married years in Northern California (East Bay). She later moved to Fresno, California and was most recently a resident of Oceanside, California
Leah was ready to leave this life & we take comfort in knowing that she is with her Lord and Savior and the many family & friends who have gone before.
She is preceded in death by her father Emery J. Wild Sr., her mother Mable Z. Wild, her brother Emery J. Wild Jr. and her husband Frank A. Clouse. She is survived by her brother, Robert G. Wild, two sons, David A. Clouse & Daniel S. Clouse, a daughter Patricia J. Friesen and her 4 grandchildren and 7 great-grandchildren.
Final viewing time will be Jan 5, 2023 8-10 AM at Eternal Hills Memorial Park, 1999 El Camino Real, Oceanside CA 92054. A Graveside service will follow the viewing.
