Kenneth Lee was born in San Francisco, California on May 25, 1935. He was the youngest of four born to father Ah Gan and mother Tom Shee Lee. His parents were born in Canton, China.
He graduated from Francisco Junior High and Galileo High School. He enlisted in the US Air Force in September 1954 and discharged July 1958. He moved to Los Angeles in 1959. He received his Associate Arts degree from Los Angeles Technical College and worked for ITT-Gilfillan for 27 years as a designer draftsman. He designed radar systems for ships for the military.
His sons, Andrew Lee was born on February 26, 1964 and Jayson Lee was born on December 12, 1966. His family resided in South San Gabriel, CA from 1964 to 1974. He moved to Sacramento, CA where he was an instructor for defensive driving for police officers from 1974 to 1976. He moved to Montebello, CA in 1976 and resumed working for ITT-Gilfillan. After he retired, he moved to Carlsbad, CA.
During his retirement, he enjoyed his hobbies of painting, picture matting and framing, coin collecting, building model airplanes and boats, raising tropical fish and cooking. He enjoyed walking and playing with his two dogs, Rocky and Penny.
He leaves behind his wife, one brother, two sons, two sister-in-laws, two brothers-in-laws, four grandchildren and numerous grandnieces and grandnephews.
