Carol was born to Wilbur Kinney and Gloria Van Sickle in Oceanside on June 5, 1954. She grew up in Vista with her sisters Gloria Jean, Patricia, Dolores and brother Herb. She later married Smiley Carrasco and had three daughters Stephanie, Stacy, and Andrea and lived in San Marcos until she divorced. She then moved to Oklahoma and Phoenix until September of 2020 when she came home to spend her final days. She loved baking, cooking, crafting, camping, the beach and anything that had to do with her family. She loved watching her grandchildren play sports.
Carol is proceeded in death by her parents, sisters Gloria Jean and Patricia. She is survived by sister Dolores “DeeDee” Oltman, brother Herb Kinney. Daughters Stephanie and Mark Howard, Stacy and Willam “Bill” Wasson, Andrea and Marco Lora. Grandchildren Ashlynn, Anthony, Niko, Cayden, Raven, Alyssa, Brayden, Bailey, Sofia, Vonye, Taylor, Trey, Thomas, Stephen, Chase, Kyl, Seth. Great Grandchildren Ava, Isla, Emrie, Jru, Kayla, Kamille, Mayah, Kamiyah, Tyson, Melanie, Anthony, Lillian.
