She was preceded by her father Kenneth Benson, her mother Patricia Benson, her brother Jack Johansson, and her son Christopher Church.
Alice was born December 29th, 1947 in Jackson Michigan. Growing up she enjoyed various activities such as music, gymnastics, and horseback riding. As an adult, she was an active member of Carlsbad Community Church where she sang in the choir faithfully for 30 years. Alice worked as an accountant in the flower business for over 15 years and fished her career as an accountant for Carlsbad Unified School District where she retired in 2012. She loved to travel and experience beautiful scenery. She treasured her family and dedicated her life to her children and grandchildren. She was a wise forgiving example of God’s love to all that knew her. Alice was a strong woman who fought for her family and her beliefs. She modeled strong morals and dignity to her children while allowing them to still be who they were, always showing kindness and love.
A memorial in her honor will be held at Carlsbad Community Church on January 4th, 2020 at 11:00 AM.
