Agnes M Taele

Agnes M. Taele, a beloved wife, mother, grandma, sister, aunty, and friend, passed away on Friday, December 6, 2024, at the age of 59. Born on April 2, 1965, in Honolulu, Hawaii, to her loving parents, Mavaega and Florina Samifua, Agnes lived most of her life in Oceanside, CA, surrounded by loved ones.

Agnes and her husband, Jimmy Taele, built a good life together as they raised their three daughters: Florina, Trisha, and Tianna—her greatest joys and proudest accomplishments. Her world was further brightened by her grandchildren—Benjamin (BenBen), Kayona (Sha-KK), Kaylani (Lanzi-Boo), Kayliah (Leez), and Logan—as well as her cherished great-nieces and great-nephews, whom she also lovingly called her grandkids: Jahnaia (JahJah), Jeremiah (JJ), Rayziah (RayRay), Exzodus (Exzy), Klahsyk (Brother), and Blehsyd (Sissy). And, of course, her loyal big baby grandpup, Acey Boy. They brought her endless pride, laughter, and immeasurable joy.

Agnes was welcomed into eternal rest by her parents, Mavaega and Florina Samifua; her sisters, May, Koretti, and Janet; and her brother, Junior.

She is survived by her husband, her daughters, sons-in-law, grandbabies, nieces and nephews, her siblings Theresa (Honey), Pete, and Irene, along with countless loved ones whose lives she touched.

To know Agnes was to experience pure kindness, boundless generosity, and unwavering love. She gave of herself freely, with a heart that anticipated the needs of others long before they were spoken. Her warmth, compassion, and giving spirit left an unforgettable mark on everyone who had the privilege of knowing her. Through life's challenges, Agnes remained a beacon of positivity, sharing her light, laughter, and humor with those she loved most.
