He is survived by his wife of 30 years, Nancy Erickson, his daughter Traci Rubin, and his brother Jerome Rubin and Jerome’s wife Helene. Philip was predeceased by his siblings: Bernice Germain, Frances Basen, Ilene Lockwood, and Evelyn Blankenstien.
Philip was an active member of Netherwood Tennis Club, Picatinny Golf Club and Westfield, NJ’s Tennis Club, and a volunteer at Toni’s Kitchen in Montclair, NJ. He will be remembered as a quick-witted, generous, kind and loving person who was also an amazing husband, father, brother and friend.
A graveside service will be held for Philip at 11:30am on Monday, February 8, 2021 at Riverside Cemetery, 12 Market Street, Saddle Brook, NJ 07663. Please meet at the cemetery office by 11am if you plan to attend the service.
