Patricia Gerardo

Patricia Helen Gerardo, age 92, of Summerfield, Florida passed away at Ted and Diane Brandley House on May 7, 2024. She was born on April 15, 1932, in Toronto, Ontario, Canada to the late Edward Joseph and Muriel (LaMountain) McGowan.

Pat was a retired clerical clerk for American Express. She was deeply spiritual and loved the Lord. Pat was a member of Saint Mark the Evangelist Roman Catholic Church, Summerfield, Florida where she was an usher for 20 years. She was also a member of the VFW and the Red Hat Society. Pat enjoyed sewing, doing musicals and other charitable work.

She is preceded in death by her parents, Edward and Muriel McGowan; husband, Joseph P. Gerardo; siblings, Frank, Ted and Stephen McGowan.

Survivors include her siblings, Chris McGowan, Kathleen Young and Dina McGowan and companion and special friend, Jack Nettis.

A Mass will be at 10:00 am, Thursday, May 30, 2024, at Saint Mark the Evangelist Roman Catholic Church, 7081 Southeast Highway 42, Summerfield, FL 34491. She will be laid to rest with her late husband, Joe at Florida National Cemetery, Bushnell, Florida.
