James Hampton Smith Sr., age 89, of Lady Lake, Florida passed away on Wednesday, June 23, 2021. James was born March 24, 1932. Mr. Smith proudly served his country from 1950-1955 in the US Army, and after his military service he worked as a truck driver from which he retired following a long career.
He is survived by a loving family; wife, Mary A. Smith; son, James H. Smith, Jr; daughter, Onia Cordelia; 5 grandchildren, 9 great grandchildren and 9 great-great grandchildren. He will be deeply missed.
His funeral service will be held Saturday, August 7, 2021 from 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM at First Baptist Church of Lady Lake, 432 County Road 466, Lady Lake, FL 32159.
