He was born on September 18, 1933, in Reading, Pennsylvania to the late Walter John and Mildred Marie (Sfameni) Dietrich. After graduating from high school, Harry had an encounter with Jesus Christ as his Lord & Savior, through the ministry of Anthony DiBiase, who was a missionary in Reading. He met and married the love of his life, Esther, Ps. DiBiase’s daughter. Together, he and Esther then went to Bible School for four years, before moving to Summit, New Jersey to plant a church in Berkeley Heights, NJ (Faith Chapel). Harry pastored there while working full time selling Electrolux vacuum cleaners door to door for more than 35 years, to support the ministry and his family.
After Faith Chapel, Ps. Harry moved to minister at Evangel Church, in Elizabeth, NJ and eventually, Scotch Plains, NJ, then in 1989, he and Esther were asked to join the staff of Times Square Church in NYC, with David Wilkerson. In the late 1990’s he transitioned back to Evangel Church and, many years later, Harry & Esther moved to Summerfield, Florida, and joined Oxford Assemblies of God, in 2009.
In the recent past Harry enjoyed bowling and going to the gym on a regular basis.
He is preceded in death by his beloved wife of 70+ years, Esther Dietrich (March 23, 2022).

Don't Cry
Song by BeBe & CeCe Winan
Here we are again
That old familiar place
Where the winds will blow
No one ever knows the time nor place
Don't cry for me
Don't shed a tear
The time I shared with you will always be
And when I'm gone, please carry on
Don't Cry for me
No one is the blame,
My death was meant to be
Don't carry guilt nor shame
The reason why I came soon you'll see
Don't cry for me
Don't shed a tear
The time I shared with you will always be
And when I'm gone, please carry on
Don't Cry for me
Don't cry when life is not the joy it should be
With life comes pain
Soon time will end this course appointed
And you will be rewarded
And all the world will see
Don't cry for me
Don't shed a tear
The time I shared with you will always be
And when I'm gone
Life still carries on
Don't cry for me
We'll always be
Don't cry for me
