Gail was born May 1, 1951 in Berea, KY, the daughter of Holly W. Hogsten and the late Hollis B. Hogsten. She was a 1969 graduate of New Smyrna Beach High School and graduated from the University of Florida in 2014. An employee of the United States Postal Service, she retired after 32 years of service.
She was an active member of the Church at The Springs and loved the Lord with all of her heart. Her family and many friends will miss her radiant spirit and sweet smile. Love for her family was unconditional.
Predeceased by her father, she is survived by her mother, Holly W. Hogsten, Ocala; son, James M. Bowman (Catherine), Winter Park; daughter, Laura Marie Clements, Gainesville; granddaughter, Kiersten Bowman; grandson, Lucas Bowman; brothers, Dale (Kathy) Hogsten and Roger (Terri) Hogsten, Ocala; nephews, Marcus (Jamie) Hogsten of Warner Robins, GA; nieces, Melissa Hogsten, Gainesville; Michelle Hogsten, Ocala; Shelly Hogsten, Ocala and several aunts, uncles and cousins.
A memorial service will be held at 11 A.M. on Saturday, April 25, 2015 at Forest Lawn Funeral Home, 5740 S. Pine Ave., Ocala. The family will receive friends 30 minutes prior to the service. Interment will follow the service at Forest Lawn Memory Gardens.
