A native of Newnan, Georgia, he moved to Ocala in 1962. He is preceded in death by his wife of 51 years, Louise, and survived by their three children: Camilla Harmon (Jack) of Ocala, Vikki Kast of Lakeland (Jason), and Jeffrey Hammond (Kelley) of Ocala. He is also survived by his grandchildren: Audra Dodge (Ben), Josh Harmon (Neelie), Tyler Harmon (Kate), Jeremy Scherer (Rebecca), Adam Hammond (Tiffany), Ann Kast, and Charles Kast. And his great grandchildren: Carlee, Grant, Morgan, Ava, Alexis, Gaige and Kaylyn. And his sister, Barbara Broyles (Bill) of Ocala.
Funeral services will be held at Forest Lawn Funeral Home located at 5740 South Pine Avenue, Ocala, Florida 34480. Visitation Sunday, May, 21st 5:00-7:00 pm. Funeral Service, Monday, May 22nd at 11:00 am.
