Frances Marie Woods

Frances Marie Woods, age 101, of Oakland, California passed away on Tuesday, February 1, 2022. Frances was born April 27, 1920 in Lemoore, California to the proud departed parents of Franklin & Bertha Greenway.

She was the second oldest of six children. Frances attended public schools in Lemoore. The family would later move to Tulare, California. There she met Willard Jessie Woods who departed in 1985.

October 28, 1938, Frances entered the union of matrimony with Willard Jessie Woods. They moved to Oakland, California where she was employed at the Oakland Army Base, and the Richmond Shipyard. Also the United States Postal Service in Oakland. From this union they were blessed with five children.
