Avelina Fralaide

She earned a degree in Vocational Agriculture from Mariano Marcos Memorial College of Science and Technology in the Philippines. She also earned an Associate's degree in Business Administration from Hilo Community College in Hawaii.

Avelina was a Restaurant General Manager at Kentucky Fried Chicken for 35 years. She was awarded numerous accolades for her dedication, including the Best of the Best Performance Award and Top Performer of the Year.

She loved to garden, travel, cook, and most importantly, laugh.

Avelina was the beloved wife of Romulo "Romy" Nogueras Fralaide, loving mother of Michael Orcino Fralaide, and dear Sister of Rosita (Rosing), Leoncio (Leony), Marina (Maring), Corazon (Cora), Franklin (Erning), Lourdes, Florentino (Boy), Magdalena (Dalene), Benjamin (Ben), and Jessie Orcino. Fond Aunt of 52 nieces and nephews and Great-Aunt, Godmother, and loved one to many.

A visitation for Avelina will be held Sunday, December 18, 2022 from 3:00 PM to 7:00 PM at Chapel Hill Gardens West Funeral Home, 17w201 Roosevelt Road, Oakbrook Terrace, IL 60181. A Mass of Christian burial will occur Monday, December 19, 2022 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at Christ the King Catholic Church, 1501 S Main St, Lombard, IL 60148.

A graveside service will follow on Monday, December 19, 2022 from 11:30 AM to 12:00 PM at Chapel Hill Gardens West Cemetery, 17W201 Roosevelt Road, Oakbrook Terrace, IL 60181.
