Linda, I was so very very sorry to hear about Lisa. And although I haven't seen her in recent years, I can remember so vividly the little 4-year old with the beautiful brown eyes and pigtails, romping in the yard with Rob, helping me walk Joanna in her buggy, and being the most well-mannered child I'd ever seen.  Our kids swam together, went trick or treating together, and played outside all day long until you moved away.  I'll also never forget that you brought both of your children to my father's wake and funeral, because you said they "loved Uncle Wally."  Rob was also saddened to hear of her passing, and told me she was his first "girlfriend".  Try to stay strong, and know that there is a purpose for everything in this crazy life of ours, and  God Bless.

Thank you so much for including me in your lives and for allowing me in to your home so often during the past year.  The visits with Lisa meant so much to me.  She was my best friend.  I will never forget our friendship.  Word can not explain the sadness I feel right now.  
She would be so proud of the three of you.  You sent her off with a beautiful farewell.  Brett and Rachel your mom loved you so much.  She was so proud of you both; you two are great kids.  The love and support you gave to your mom through her illness was remarkable.  I know the pain you three are feeling is unbearable right now, but In time your pain will lessen and the memories of your mom will make you smile.

To the family of Lisa,
First I would like to say how sorry I am that I was unable to attend the wake for Lisa. I was not notified until it was too late. I will always remember Lisa as a little girl growing up on BurrOak in North Riverside. She was a real doll. I was given the name Uncle Kenny and that always stuck with me whenever I talked to Lisa or any of her siblings. Lisa was a wonderful person and although I haven't seen her in the past years,since Beth's wedding, I know that she was  a wonderful wife and Mom. There are just too many memories to list. I offer my most sincere condolences to her family and will always say a prayer for all of you.

My condolences to Michael, Rachel and Brett. As the physical education teacher at Columbus Manor, I had the privilege of knowing Lisa as a very active member of the PTA. Her work at the school enriched the lives of the students. She, and Michael, have raised two wonderful children in Rachel and Brett. I am truly saddened by her passing at such a young age.

Just heard from Auntie Doll about Lisa's passing.  Told her that what I will always remember was what a beautiful girl Lisa was.  When Lisa was little and she would visit Auntie Babe, I would take her out for candy and ice cream along with Michael. She was such a  sweet child so it was no surprise that her life's calling was to nurse sick children.  God's Blessings for her and her family.

I know that Lisa will live in the hearts of all who knew her. I worked with her close to 20 years ago and think of her often. Those thoughts always bring a smile and a laugh that I will always cherish.

I had lost touch after leaving Loyola many years ago; but got to see her when my mom was in the hospital and I heard this happy voice yelling my name in the Lobby. Turning around it was Lisa with a big hug and a smile.  That hug brought back all the wonderful memories of the 90's;the great fun we all had when we all had big hair. My condolences to everyone in Lisa's family. We lost touch many years ago after I left Loyola but never forgot what a wonderful fun loving person Lisa was to all those around her. I saw Lisa last in the hallway at Loyola when my mom was sick; this laughing voice calling my name. When she hugged me and laughed it was like 10 years slipped away and neither one of has had big hair anymore.  I am so deaply sorry for your loss. You are all in my prayers. She is forever smiling in my memories.

I was so lucky to have known Lisa, she was a great friend and co-worker, a great nurse.  I remember most her great smile and cute laugh.  She will be very missed.  My thoughts and prayers are with her and her family.

I am not sure where to start except to say amazing! My cousin Lisa was and still is amazing to me. She is the model of how I want to live my life by. Constantly devoting herself to help others. Raising two wonderful children who would do anything for her family. I love her so very much!!!

Lisa was a great RN and I loved working with her. We walked out to our car together every third weekend, and would always laugh about the food we were going to pick up on the way home. She will be missed. Prayers to her and her family.

Lisa was a gift to us while on earth and now as an angel in heaven she is watching over all of us.  Our sorrow is a testament to what a wonderful, beautiful, loving, caring, giving, person she was.
